Valentine frames

So we did some valentine frames for Davids nursery school friends.. found them at micheals for a buck... so i figured it was a better present than some candy

we first painted them all on plain red color...
then we put some glitter on them

then we put some glitter
and made some salt playdough to make the letters for our friends names

The recipe for salt dough is

1 cup of salt
2 cups of flour
and water

we used coolaide to get the pink color but you can use tempera paint just make sure you use it in the water.

mix the dry ingredients and then add the water little by little until you get the consistency you want

then we made the letters

and bake them at 210 F for about 10 min
peel them out and voila!!

Winter Fest in Barrie
